ZippedScript Ltd. (“ZippedScript”, “we” or “us”) values and respects your privacy. We have prepared this privacy policy to explain the how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise process your personal information through our website located at https://zippedscript.com/ (the “Website”), and other interactions with you. ZippedScript’s Website allows its enterprise customer users (“Enterprises”) and individual users (“Individuals”) to verify enrollment at, and/or degrees obtained from, post-secondary institutions located around the world (the “Services”). This privacy policy describes the manner in which we collect, use and disclose personal information processed in the course of providing the Services to both Enterprises and Individuals, when you visit the Website, or otherwise interact with us.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The kinds of personal information that we process, and how we process it, depends on whether we are processing personal information on behalf of Enterprises that we have partnered with, or whether we are processing personal information directly at the request of Individuals.

Information We Process on Behalf of Enterprises:

In providing the Services, we may process personal information on behalf of Enterprises, including information about candidates for work, volunteering, or other opportunities with those Enterprises (or their respective clients). We may also process personal information about those Enterprises’ existing personnel for account administration related purposes.

Enterprise Account Registration: Enterprise users can create an account by providing us with their work email, and a password that they select. We use this information for the purpose of administering Enterprise user accounts, and to enable access to the Services.

Inviting a Candidate: Enterprise users can invite candidates to verify their enrollment at, or degrees obtained from, post-secondary educational institutions by providing us with the candidate’s full name and university/college degree related information (including enrollment date, graduation date, and institution name), together with a candidate’s email address. We use this information for the purpose of contacting the candidate to prompt them to complete the enrollment or degree verification process as part of the Services.

Enrollment/Degree Verification: After receiving an invitation to verify their enrollment or degree status, a candidate can choose to provide us with access to certain academic records and databases made available through their post-secondary institution’s academic records management platform. To do so, candidates must login using their credentials for that post-secondary institution platform. We use this information for the purpose of verifying to the Enterprise the individual’s enrollment or degree information (including name, degree type, major, minor, graduation status, and graduation date) with the relevant post-secondary institution.

Purchases: We use a third-party payment processor to process payments. Your payment card data or account information is provided to our payment processor. If you pay using a debit or credit card, ZippedScript only stores the last four digits of your credit card number, the card type, the expiration number, your postal or zip code and the country.

Support Services: We may collect certain information (such as name, email address, phone number and query) reasonable to assist us in providing Enterprises with support services by phone, email or via the Website.

We rely on Enterprises to comply with applicable privacy laws when collecting, using, or disclosing personal information through the Services, including by obtaining appropriate consent to collect, use, and disclose personal information, including the personal information of others, through the Services. We require Enterprises to ensure that they have obtained all authority to provide personal information to us in accordance with applicable privacy laws and to not provide us with any sensitive personal information. Except as set out herein, we do not collect or use personal information provided by Enterprises for any purpose other than to provide Services.

If you have any questions regarding the personal information we process on behalf of a Enterprise, we encourage you to first contact the Enterprise directly and/or review their applicable privacy policy.

Individual Account Registration: Individual users can create an account by providing us with their email address, country, and post-secondary institution name. We use this information for the purpose of administering Individual user accounts.

To do so, the Individual must login using their credentials for that post-secondary institution platform. We use this information for the purpose of verifying enrollment and/or degree status at a post-secondary educational institution (including name, degree type, major, minor, graduation status, and graduation date), and to enable Individuals to choose to display a “verified” status on third party websites, (e.g, a blue checkmark on LinkedIn).
